Where Should We Begin?

I am happy to arrange a consultation over the phone and, if we agree, an initial appointment at no charge. During that first appointment, we will do our best to decide whether we're the right fit. Therapist shopping is a process and you have the right to get to know me and my style before committing to anything.

If we enter into a working relationship, we'll find a time to meet at least once per week (some clients come in multiple times per week, and I am very open to that) and we will agree upon a fee.

Although I am not enrolled in any insurance panels, some insurance plans will reimburse a portion of the cost for out-of-network outpatient mental-health-care providers. The monthly invoices I provide my clients can serve as "superbills" for you to submit to your insurance company for reimubrsement.


A word about the Covid situation: Having been fully vaccinated, I am now seeing patients in person two days a week. For patients who wish to continue seeing me remotely, I am happy to have sessions by telephone. (With apologies, I don't do video therapy with individual clients.)
